Patterns in the Ice

If you know me, you know that I am fascinated by ice.

In university, I took an amazing course (snow and ice) from and amazing teacher (Dr. Peter Adams), and I was fascinated for life.

Here are some recent shots of the shore ice near my home.  We are having an unusually warm December, and the ice keeps forming and reforming as the temperatures and solar radiation play havoc with established patterns of ice formation.
